Program Coordinator & HR Specialist – Behavioral Health
We usually respond within three days
About the Role
We are hiring for a growing U.S.-based behavioral health company. Behavioral health covers services such as mental health counseling and therapy. You will help keep their services and their team running smoothly. Your work has two parts: coordinating client services and the providers who deliver them, and handling hiring, onboarding and staff records.
This role is a good fit for someone who is highly organized, follows up without being reminded, and is comfortable holding people accountable in a respectful, professional way. Experience in healthcare coordination, scheduling or HR is a strong foundation. We will train you on the company's specific processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination
• Coordinate client services so every client receives the services they need, on time
• Manage provider schedules and coverage, and quickly resolve gaps such as cancellations or call-outs
• Track services delivered and keep client records and documentation up to date
• Follow up with providers to make sure sessions are completed and paperwork is submitted on time
• Act as the main point of contact between providers, clinicians and management
HR
• Manage hiring: post jobs, screen applicants and schedule and conduct interviews
• Handle onboarding: paperwork, background checks, credentials and compliance documents
• Track staff training and certifications, and flag anything close to expiring
• Maintain staff files and support day-to-day HR needs
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of experience in program or service coordination, scheduling, HR or operations
• Experience supervising or leading a team
• Strong written and spoken English, comfortable on daily calls with U.S. staff and managers
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage many people and deadlines at once
• Confident communicator, comfortable addressing missed work or late paperwork directly
• Calm and practical when schedules change at the last minute
• Comfortable with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Calendar)
Experience That Is a Plus
• Behavioral health, mental health or other U.S. healthcare experience
• U.S. home healthcare coordination, recruiting or caregiver onboarding
• Experience with an EHR (electronic health record) system
• Scheduling software or applicant tracking systems
• Experience with background checks, credentialing or license verification
