About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized Title Coordinator to support residential and commercial real estate transactions in New York and New Jersey. You will manage title files from opening through closing, ensuring that all requirements are completed accurately and on time.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in title, legal, mortgage, or real estate administration who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping transactions moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Open and manage title files from inception through closing
Order title searches, municipal searches, tax searches, payoff letters, and related services
Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, borrowers, sellers, and real estate professionals
Monitor transaction timelines and follow up on outstanding items
Assist with preparing title commitments, closing packages, and related documentation
Maintain organized digital files and status reports
Communicate updates to all parties involved in the transaction
Qualifications
Prior experience in a title agency, settlement services, legal office, mortgage company, or real estate environment preferred
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Knowledge of New York and/or New Jersey real estate transactions preferred
Residential and/or commercial experience is a plus
