About the Role
We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to provide real-time technical assistance to business clients.
This is not a slow-paced helpdesk job. Many of the calls are urgent. For example, a printer may stop working while customers are waiting in line. You must be calm, professional, and able to troubleshoot quickly under pressure.
Minimum Level 1 IT experience is required. Level 2 knowledge is a strong plus.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset are just as important as technical ability.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound support calls from business clients
Troubleshoot hardware issues (printers, scanners, peripherals)
Resolve basic Windows and software issues
Diagnose connectivity issues (internet, DNS, IP conflicts)
Guide users step-by-step through solutions
Document all actions clearly in the ticketing system
Escalate more complex issues when necessary
Maintain professionalism during high-pressure situations
Technical Requirements (Minimum Level 1)
Knowledge of Windows 10/11
Basic networking understanding (DNS, IP address, router/modem basics)
Experience troubleshooting printers and hardware
Familiarity with remote support tools
Experience using a ticketing system
Level 2 Knowledge (A Plus, Not Required)
Active Directory user management
Microsoft 365 administration
Firewall basics (VPN, port forwarding, rule review)
Deeper network troubleshooting
